Family First Leads ("Family First Leads," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our websites, request a quote, submit a lead form, or interact with our services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers: name, postal address, email address, telephone number, date of birth.
- Insurance-related information: coverage type requested, household size, employment status, beneficiary information, height/weight, tobacco use, general health questions, and other information you voluntarily provide on a quote form.
- Internet & device information: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, clickstream data, and cookie identifiers.
- Consent records: the language of the disclosure shown to you, the URL where consent was captured, timestamp, IP address, and a TrustedForm or Jornaya LeadiD certificate of authenticity.
- Communications: recordings and transcripts of calls, SMS, email, and chat messages (where permitted by law).
2. How We Collect Information
- Directly from you when you complete a form, call us, or message us.
- Automatically through cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies.
- From service providers such as TrustedForm (ActiveProspect) and Jornaya, which independently document your consent.
- From publicly available sources and data enrichment vendors.
3. How We Use Information
- To match you with licensed insurance agents and agencies ("Marketing Partners") who can provide the products you requested.
- To contact you by phone, SMS, email, ringless voicemail, and pre-recorded or artificial-voice messages about insurance products and related offers.
- To verify, score, and validate lead data and to prevent fraud.
- To comply with legal obligations, including the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, state telemarketing laws, and applicable privacy laws.
- To operate, secure, audit, and improve our Services.
4. How We Share Information
We share your personal information with Marketing Partners — including independent insurance agents, agencies, carriers, IMOs, FMOs, and call centers — so they can contact you about insurance products. The list of categories of recipients is available on request. We also share information with:
- Service providers (hosting, analytics, CRM, dialers, compliance vendors such as TrustedForm and Jornaya).
- Affiliates under common control.
- Government authorities and other parties when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect rights, property, and safety.
- An acquirer or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, our sharing of leads with Marketing Partners may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under certain state privacy laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA). You may opt out as described below.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for analytics, ad attribution, conversion tracking, retargeting, and fraud prevention. You can disable cookies in your browser; doing so may limit functionality. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of "sale/sharing."
6. Your Choices and Rights
- Marketing calls and texts: reply STOP to any SMS, or ask the caller to add you to their internal Do-Not-Call list.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any commercial email.
- Access, deletion, correction, portability: residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may request access, deletion, correction, and portability of their personal information, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, sharing, and certain profiling.
- How to submit a request: email privacy@familyfirstleads.com or call +1 (855) 555-1234. We will verify your identity before honoring the request. You may designate an authorized agent.
- Appeals: if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal and audit obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Consent records (including TrustedForm certificates) are retained for at least five (5) years to substantiate compliance with the TCPA and state telemarketing laws.
8. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date.
